PostHeaderIcon Charles Phillips for the Business of the Information Technology

Some people say that Charles Phillips is really meant to be a leader for the Information Technology industry. Considering that he was a part of the Oracle Group, it goes to say that he is considered to have been one of the most influential people in the sector. By making sure the growth of Oracle did not become stagnant, he was able to give a larger focus on this by taking over other software developers in the region. With Sun Microsystems, PeopleSoft, Hyperion, and Siebel being some of the largest takeovers that he played a major part in, it seemed that Oracle was glad to have him on board.

For Infor, when Charles Phillips was free, they took the chance to rein him in as their CEO. Thus, they are now able to develop a stronger executive division that will make a mark in the industry. In fact, the growth of Infor with the entry of Phillips has been noted with constant changes in the product and service. Hence, it may seem that it will be soon that the company will move towards offering this Initial Public Offering to the traders to help finance their capitalization goals for their expansion and growth. As a privately held company, it seems that this move just might be around the corner with Phillips as their CEO.

Charles Phillips was certainly on board as an instrument for major changes in the Oracle Group. Hence, it will not be a surprise in the future if the business is able to get new accounts and companies by taking over their businesses. Infor is certainly a strong player, and while it may have stayed under the radar and visibility of others for the past decade, it seems that with Phillips as their CEO, this would be highly unlikely. The product solutions of Infor are diverse and uncomplicated, and Phillips intends to make the business stand out by providing speed to the needs of the clients and customers.

Infor is already on its way to growing the business to a larger sector. It serves around 70,000 customers and Charles Phillips will be handling around 8,000 employees spread over a global region of 120 offices in 36 countries. As an ERP provider, Phillips wants to make sure the company is able to develop products that suites the needs and demands of the market. In fact, there are new solutions being produced every quarter that are to the benefit of the midsized companies.
